Extended Advisory
Teachers, please review the following information with your students:
Students, share answers group by group.
- Handbook
- Absence Policy
- Tardy Policy (School and Class)
- Dress Code (What's allowed, what isn't, repercussions)
- Directions for Honor Code Assembly (August 26th)
- Students will sit with their class on the vistor side of the Henry Gym
- Students will be called down by class to sign the Honor Code
- After signing, students will sit with their grade in the home bleachers
6th Grade Advisor Groups: IF time permits, walk your advisory from your room to the cafeteria and explain lunch and break procedures. Otherwise, continue with the following activity.

- What is the purpose of a mission statement?
- What does the mission statement seem to emphasize? Are these worthwhile goals? Can you think of any additional goals that we, as a school, should be working towards?
- Consider the statement line by line. Which lines are the most and least meaningful to you?
- What can you do to uphold the mission statement?
